This museum was designed by the same architecture who designed the gateway of India who is George Wittet. He designed this building in the gothic and morish style. This museum also worked as the military hospital during the period of World War 1.this building started to work as a museum in 1923 and was opened by the lady Lloyd the wife of Sir George Lloyd.
